JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada
DEPARTMENT: Construction Management
POSITION REPORTS TO: Construction Management Department Manager President, CMA
POSITION SUMMARY: Manage Construction Management Projects
- Develop and Maintain Relationship with Homeowners Associations, Property Management Company, Attorneys, Construction Companies and Contractors.
PLACE OF WORK:
- This position will work primarily out of the CMA Office located in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, this position may work at any number of locations as determined by CMA Management and Construction Management Projects.
TIME DEVOTED TO WORK:
- This
position requires full time application and is considered to be
middle management. As such, this position is expected to perform
with a minimum amount of supervision. However, CMA expects him/her
to devote such number of hours as is necessary to meet noticed
deadlines, required delivery dates and time restrictions to achieve
successful completion of case load requirements. All work shall
be subject to inspection and review to secure satisfactory completion
of such work in accordance with CMA's overall plans, commitments
and deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As assigned, maintain and manage the daily operating functions of the Construction Management division, this includes but is not limited to marketing and sales, operations, client and community relations.
- Work with existing construction management systems.
- Work with homeowners association (HOA) to promote contracts.
- Organize with homeowners association (HOA) mobilization of site.
- Attend Homeowner Association meetings as required.
- Prepare specifications and bid packages for the retrofit repair of existing building systems.
- Prepare and present presentations to Homeowner Associations. Presentations to include but not limited to; work to be done at location, work in progress, production timelines, expectations of CMA consulting.
- Attend all pre-bid, job walks and pre-construction meetings.
- Monitor all field work pertaining to assigned projects. Maintaining constant contact with construction companies and/or all sub contractors working on assigned projects.
- Prepare all daily reports for required level of Quality Control.
- Prepare monthly progress reports.
- Prepare monthly billing.
- Coordinate final walk through with homeowners association (HOA).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years Construction Project Management experience required. Ability to read blueprints. and/or minimum 5 years experience with Construction industry at supervisor or contractor level.
