EXPERIENCE
Omar Hindiyeh is regarded as one of the leading consultants in construction defect litigation representing common interest developments. He is a seasoned forensic construction expert, has experience on over 200 investigation projects, and has been declared expert witness on over 200 construction defect litigation cases with over 350 days of testimony.
Mr. Hindiyeh is the founder and President of Construction Management Associates and has worked with common interest developments since 1979.
Mr. Hindiyeh holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Construction from San Jose State University. He is an ASPE Certified Professional Construction Cost Estimator, an ICBO Certified Building Inspector and holds and Engineering Certificate from the State of California. His is also a Licensed Building Contractor, a Licensed Roofing Contractor and a Licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractor.
Mr. Hindiyeh has extensive hands-on construction experience. He has a broad base of knowledge in general engineering and building construction of multi-family buildings; and has specialized in the design, engineering, and installation of many types of roofing systems. He has solved many non-code compliant issues related to water intrusion and safety conditions for homeowners' associations. Mr. Hindiyeh has also developed programs for the planning, specification writing, inspection and qualidy control of major reconstruction projects.
Mr. Hindiyeh has also acted in the capacity of developer and general building contractor for many of his own projects.
