SENIOR INVESTIGATOR
EXPERIENCE
Sorin Comanescu is a forensic construction expert witness and has experience on over 50 investigations involving numerous depositions of construction defects with common interest developments since 1991.
Mr. Comanescu has worked exclusively with Homeowner Association projects at CMA and has participated in the development and writing of technical reports for replacement and maintenance of major building components.
Mr. Comanescu has prepared architectural drawings, written specifications, and developed contract documents for a wide range of facilities including common interest developments, apartments, and mixed use commercial-residential, commercial, industrial and institutional.
Structures include wood frame, concrete tilt up, and steel frame. He has participated during the construction phase in the project management and contract administration on several of these projects.
EDUCATION
Mr. Comanescu holds a Masters Degree of Architecture from U.C. Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Architecture in Bucharest, Romania.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Mr. Comanescu is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), is licensed to practice architecture in the State of California and Nevada, and has worked in the profession since 1976.
